What made you join the SWAT Organization?
"I had never personally experienced Domestic Violence but I wanted to be able to learn from others whom have endured such a tragic event in life. It has always been important to me to serve others and to be able to give back to my community. So joining SWAT gives me an opportunity to serve, and make a difference in someone elses life."
What is your role in organization
"I am appointed as the Board Member for the organization. I coordinate an annual performance evaluation of the Executive Director. I assist the Executive Director and nominate a committee in recruiting board members, consult with the board on their roles and helping assess their performances."
What is your vision for the organization?
"My vision for the organization is to help to empower other women to do what they are called to do and to help uplift them in their time of need and encourage them. To let them know they are more than conquereors and victourious in any situation they face. In the future, I see the organization helping to birth more sister and brother organizations to help empower boys, girls, ladies and men, whom have went through Domestic Violence."
