What made you join the SWAT Organization?
"As a survivor of domestic violence, I felt that it was important to allow my testimony and my works to help others who are drowning in silence to know that it is ok to start over and ok to be free. I also believe in the vision of what S.W.A.T. means and I would love to support the vision of the founder and work with like minded people who want to save others victims and help them to become a survivor. My eyes were opened when I was invited to a roundtable to help spread awareness with the organization and see them in action; I felt this was where I needed to be."
What is your role in organization
"I am appointed as the Board Member for the organization. I coordinate an annual performance evaluation of the Executive Director. I assist the Executive Director and nominate a committee in recruiting board members, consult with the board on their roles and helping assess their performances."
