About the Event
October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Survivors With A Testimony this year will lace up and dress up to kick off the month by celebrating eight years of providing services and resources to families impacted by domestic violence.
The annual event will be held on Saturday Oct. 28, at 6 p.m, doors open at 5:30 p.m, local vendors will be on site as well. The theme is Sneaker Ball, where guests will wear their cocktail attire with their favorite pair of sneakers.
Our keynote speaker this year will be the powerful survivor Mrs. Pamela Whitakers who survived domestic violence after being shot in the head neck and chest to hear more be in the place. Our panel this year will focus on healthy relationships and boundaries.
